Position Summary

Xpress Wellness is seeking a provider for our Guymon, OK location. This role is responsible for providing primary, urgent, and episodic patient care in accordance with established clinical standards, protocols, and company guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations for urgent, emergent, and non-urgent visits.

Order, perform, review, and interpret diagnostic tests, lab work, and imaging studies to evaluate patient conditions and support clinical decisions.

Analyze test results and clinical findings to determine appropriate diagnoses.

Prescribe or administer medications, treatments, therapies, vaccinations, and other medically appropriate interventions to treat or prevent illness and injury.

Perform urgent care procedures, including laceration repairs, orthopedic-related care, and other clinical services within scope of practice.

Explain medical procedures, diagnostic results, treatment plans, and follow-up care instructions to patients.

Complete accurate and timely documentation in patient records, including follow-up notes, and ensure charts are completed and closed within 24–48 hours.

Assist with communication related to recruiting, training, trade events, and other operational needs as assigned.

Provide medical orders, clinical direction, patient care services, consultation, supervision of healthcare staff, and chart review. The Physician is available by direct telecommunication for consultation, assistance with medical emergencies, and patient referrals.

Support special projects and complete additional duties as assigned. This position is designated as safety-sensitive.

Education

Medical Doctor — MD/DO — Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant degree from an accredited institution.

Licensure/Certification

Must obtain and maintain an active professional license.

Nurse Practitioners must hold current board certification.

Must meet all applicable state and federal licensing requirements, including DEA registration.

Must maintain current Basic Life Support — BLS — certification.

Experience

One year of experience preferred but not required.

Skills

Knowledge of medical coding and billing practices.

Familiarity with state and federal healthcare regulations, including OSHA, HIPAA, bloodborne pathogen standards, and related compliance requirements.

Proficiency with standard computer applications, including internet use, email, and Microsoft Office.

Ability to supervise, train, support, and evaluate both new and existing provider staff.
